AUTHENTIC Tiffany Studios Oak Leaf & Acorn Leaded Stained Slag Glass Table Lamp

For those of you who know me or who have bought from me in the past, I do not typically deal with Tiffany lamps. They are generally just too expensive for what you get, and even worse, there are just too many good copies out there. But every once in a while I do come across one that is unquestionably authentic and is fairly priced….. And this is such a case. This is one of their 18 oak leaf and acorn lamps. I probably do not need to say much more here since if you are familiar with this lamp you know exactly what it is. This one is very nice, and ALL ORIGINAL. 18″ shade (7 1/2″ deep), 22 1/2 tall. Signed TIFFANY STUDIOS 1467 on bottom rim as shown. Extremely nice condition with maybe two or three small cracks. Gold wash on leading is nearly 100%. 3-socket gold dore base is also all original with its original finish, Perkins turn keys (Bryant shells), and ORIGINAL CAP. Base is stamped TIFFANY STUDIOS, NEW YORK, 585 I don’t have this pictured since I ran out…. In keeping with the ALL ORIGINAL theme, the base still has its original wire (I know Tiffany collectors like to get them this way, so I did not have it replaced). This wire is frayed and broken in many places and as such the lamp DOES NOT LIGHT UP RIGHT NOW (the lit images are of the shade put on a different base). If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. And, the floor lamps are particularly hard to find. Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. Like most things Tiffany, not all are created equal. Even with their acorn lamps, it all comes down to the glass. This is an example of one of their very best ones. The shade is made entirely out of Tiffany glass and the colors are outstanding. I have seen many of versions of their acorn lamp and most are not that impressive. But not this one. You can see by just looking at it that this is one of their special ones. The mottling and color selection is just outstanding with cream colors which turn to deep orange in the background and bright greens in the acorns. All are made with Tiffany mottled glass! I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, since if you are familiar with Tiffany acorns you will not need me to describe this one any more than I already have. Suffice it to say that if you have ever wanted one of these….. A nice, clean, completely original one, this is your chance. This lamp came right out of a house and is 100% original. All original means no replaced glass, original 423 floor base with its original Bryant mica sockets and original turn keys, and ORIGINAL CAP….. Yes, ORIGINAL 100% guaranteed Tiffany cap! Some specifics: 10″ shade, 55″ tall. Signed with the Tiffany Studios New York. Maybe 5 or 6 pieces of glass with hairlines in them, but NO REPAIRS and NO REPLACED GLASS. Picture 5 has most of them in it. These cracks are really rather minor and I would not even try to replace them… Even if you could…. Which would be pretty hard since this is Tiffany glass made only in their factory. Original wiring down through the stem, then replaced with period style cloth braided cord coming out the hole (you can get the rest of this replaced if you want to, but I left the original wiring in there to show how original this lamp really is). Note, there are three original brass screws that screw the shade to the base. One has popped off from over tightening. It should be soldered on or glued on. I did not want to touch it. I leave it to the next owner to re-glue it so they know not to over-tighten. If you have ever wanted a great example of a true Tiffany Studios acorn lamp made with outstanding Tiffany glass in completely original condition, this may be the one for you. It is actually much better for both of us this way as they will fully guarantee it to get there without damage and if something happens they will 100% stand behind it without any claims hassle. Vintage Handel Bronze Lamp Base With Slag Glass Shade Acorn Pulls Beautiful
This is an antique lamp with a Handel bronze lamp base with acorn pulls on two of the sockets. It has a slag glass shade. It measures 22″tall x 13″ in diameter at the base of the shade. The shade does have some hairlines and small chips, but the base is in very good condition. Please look at all of the pictures as they are a part of the description.
