Vtg Art Deco Uranium Slag Glass & Gold Cast Iron 4-Light 30s Floor Lamp WORKS
Up for your consideration is a gorgeous 1930s Art Deco Uranium slag glass & cast iron floor lamp! It has a total of four lights, all work and there are multiple settings so you can choose how many you’d like on. The center light was designed for a much larger bulb than what’s available today so we’ve fitted it with a brand new porcelain converter and it works with standard bulbs beautifully now. It dose NOT include the floral lamp shade or light bulbs. Any glass shade that style should fit though. The cast iron components and two UV-reactive slag glass pieces are in great condition. I’m not sure if the wiring is original, but it is older and has imperfections in the cord. As you can see in the pictures the cardboard encasing on the three side lights has come undone. However all-in-all, my opinion is that it is in impressive condition for a nearly 100-year old lamp and it will be the highlight of any room! 4-Light 1920s Floor Lamp White, Gold Gilt, Slag Glass
This classic 57 inch tall floor lamp dates the 1920s. It has a large socket at the center top, surrounded by three candelabra style lights with sockets sized for regular light bulbs. The cast iron base is sponged gold over white with a gold gilt painted circular inset with an embossed scrolly leaf pattern. A clambroth slag glass insert with streaks of green and gold is mounted between the base and ribbed metal column. The white paint has some minor chipping to the center column. The switch knob controlling the three candle lights is missing, though the switch can still be turned without the little knob. The wiring will need to be replaced or repaired, as the original silk-wrapped cord is patched to the brown lamp cord with electrical tape at the base. The lamp has no rust and no signs of abuse or harsh treatment. Almost all my items are antique or vintage and come from a variety of sources.
