Vtg Mission Art & Craft Stickley Type Harp Wood & Blue Slag Glass Table Lamp
For Sale is a. A VERY rare, beautiful antique Stickley style, Arts & Craft Mission wooden table desk lamp with stunning swirled blue slag glass. The shade slips over two wooden posts, the base is in the shape of a harp and each window of the shade shows the blue slag glass. As shown in pictures they have been tested and works great. It is about 19″ tall and the shade is 9″ x 12. Please see all pictures as they are a big part of my description. Note: I insure ALL my lamps, NO extra charge to customer! A very beautiful original antique Handel student desk lamp in excellent condition. This lamp is very finely cast and made from thick solid real bronze making it very heavy. The original untouched patina is in excellent condition. The quality of the casting and overall craftsmanship of this lamp is outstanding throughout as shown. Both of the original turnkey light sockets are in perfect working order with a like new snap to the switches and still retain both of the original bronze turn keys that are always missing. There is a small dent in the lower edge of the base and a little ding on one of the shade holders shown in the last two photos. Both will go completely unnoticed. I never saw either of them until I took it out into direct sun light for the photos. All of the original shade holder thumb screws are present less one that that has a nice old screw in its place. It needs to be rewired, I have many more lamps to list and just don’t have time to do it. It stands 20″ tall by 15-1/2 ” wide. The base is 7-1/4 wide. A truly outstanding beautiful all original rare antique Duffner & Kimberly early table lamp. This was a gas lamp that was converted to electric a long time ago. The all original slag glass in this shade is truly outstanding full of color and fire that is often missing in other lamps the photos don’t do it any justice. It is in excellent condition with no cracks or damage. The base plate is thick solid cast bronze making the base nice and heavy. The original patina on the base is in excellent untouched condition. The casting and overall quality of this lamp is very fine. There are what may appear to be a few cracks in a couple pieces of the slag glass that are shown in the last two photos, but they are not cracks at all. The top of the shade is slightly irregular as shown but will go unnoticed. It has been completely rewired with a new antique style cloth covered cord with the original bake-o-lite wall plug. The pull chain light socket is in perfect working order. I’ve installed a new paper socket liner for safety. Ready to use and enjoy for many years to come. It stands 22-1/2″ tall, and the shade is 16-1/2″ wide by 8-1/2 tall. The base is 7-1/2 wide. The shade will be double boxed with the base sent separately. Mission Oak Slag Stained Glass Desk Lamp W. B. Brown
Acquired from a storage sale close to home. I believe this lamp goes back to the early 1900s. Signs of wear are visible so please refer to the photos to hopefully get a general idea of state. One of the glass pane has a small chip as shown. Some of the wood has surface crack due to age and humidity. All in all this is a beautiful lamp and it’s a survivor. If you have questions please ask. A very beautiful monumental original antique Buckeye nut and leaf student or partners desk lamp in very good condition. I’m going to have two separate listings for this lamp so I can display more photos of it, so both listings are for the same lamp. This lamp is huge, much larger than any other lamp of this type that I’ve ever seen or heard of. I took one photo of it with a large Handel student lamp in front of it so you can get some sense of its immense size. This lamp is signed twice Edward Miller on the cast iron base weight and Miller on the heavy very finely cast thick real bronze base cover that are shown in the second listing. This lamp is constructed completely from real bronze and brass other than the cast iron base weight making it very heavy. This lamp will command your attention in any size room. Both the original shades have very beautiful slag glass but the shade that has more orange in it has had the glass replaced a long time ago. The original finish is in very good condition. The quility of the casting and overall craftsmanship of this lamp is outstanding throughout as shown. All the very fine metal filigree work on the shades is in very good condition with only two small losses that is shown in the last photos of the second listing. Both of the original Bryant turn key light sockets are in perfect working order. I installed a new paper socket liners for safety. An truly outstanding beautiful original super rare very large antique Wilkinson partners desk lamp in very good condition. Extremely heavy for its size. This lamp has a big presence even in a large room. Wilkinson was one of the finest makers of leaded glass and panel lamps of that era, there casting was second to none. The slag glass in this shade is truly outstanding full of color and fire that is often missing in other lamps the photos don’t do it any justice. This lamp has most of its original components even retaining the original Hubbell turn key sockets, final and bake-o-lite wall plug. The casting and overall quality of this lamp is very fine far beyond most. All of the very finely cast metal overlay work is in very good condition with nothing replaced or repaired. On the lower corners of the shades there are 6 of the 16 little tear drops that are missing that will go unnoticed. One of the little tracks came lose that holds a glass panel in place on the lower portion of one shade that was resoldered back into place. The original finish has mostly worn away but it has developed its own patina that presents very well. The original Hubbell turn key light sockets are in perfect working order. From the front shade corner to the rear shade corner is 15 across. Please be aware if your located near the West coast of the U. An truly outstanding all original very rare antique signed Tiffany Studios Zodiac desk lamp in excellent nearly perfect condition. Very heavy for its size made from solid bronze. The original bronze patina is in excellent condition. Tiffany studios was the finest maker of that era. The casting and overall quality of this lamp are second to none. Tiffany made several different Zodiac lamp models this model is one of the rarest and it has the pure white slag glass that acts as a reflector on the underside of the shade that is also extremely rare and in perfect condition. The original toggle switch on the base isn’t working so I bypassed it and it now turns on and off by a rotary switch on the cord. I’ve installed a new paper socket liner for safety.
