The shade is full sized measuring in at 18 inches and the telescoping cats paw base, also a Tiffany copy, goes from 23.5 to 30 inches tall. Both shade and base without issue which means for the base no metalware breaks or damage and its in fine working order. Very nice patina which matches the shades as well and again the base telescopes with just a turn of a know. A very cool feature. The floral shade in excellent condition as well with all pieces of glass present and accounted for. The leading throughout tight and right and again, the patina spot on. The glass of great quality and please notice the lower rim border whereas its has rippled/drapery glass for that final great attention to detail. Leaded glass lamp unique art glass company handel era arts and crafts slag glass
Up for your consideration is a nice old lamp attributed to the Unique Art Glass Company. The shade has an irregular apple blossom border and a green/white geometric dome pattern. The shade measures 16 1/2 inches wide and 9 inches tall. The base is 8 inches wide at the foot and 22 inches tall with a single pull socket. The base has a wonderful rich brown patina and has been rewired with a cloth covered cord right for the period. Close examples of this lamp can be seen in Paul Crist’s book “Mosaics II” on page 74. The only difference is the color of the flowers…. The pattern is the same. The lamp is unsigned but most certainly an example of the Unique Company’s work. There are a few very tight hairline heat cracks and 2 specific tiles that are noticeably damaged but none are loose and all the leading and copperfoil are correct. The lamp can be turned so that neither of these tiles are displayed and it does not take away from the lamps beauty. Local pick-up in the Washington D. Metropolitan area is available. This lamp is over 100 years old and she is very sturdy and still maintains the small wire hoop that was soldered to the interior of the shade to display a hanging price tag. Thank you for looking. Up for offer here a superb early 20th century stained art glass shade lamp with metal base by Lamb Brothers from Nappanee, Indiana. It was made around 1910 – 1920 and is done in the Arts & Crafts style from the Tiffany era of lighting and decorative lamp production. The pattern seems to be of a lotus flower or water lily motif with Cattails. This lamp base measures almost 23 inches tall and the shade is about 18 inches in diameter and is about 7 1/2 inches deep. The base has some patina but is in good working condition. It is a unsigned piece that I have never seen before. The finial is original. The shade has no problems that I could find. The lamp is a nice example with a lot of colored glass so it really sparkles. Please look at the pictures I have included. 24 Leaded Stained Slag Glass Ceiling Lamp Chandelier Bradley/Hubbard/Handel era
This is a beautiful leaded stained slag glass hanging ceiling light. It is a rather large shade measuring approximately 24 1/8″ across x 11″ tall. With the bronze heat cap and chain, its overall height is approximately 27″-28″. It has 3 individual socket lights and has recently been professionally rewired. All panels are in tact and in overall good condition. There are 10 heat cracks that I can see which is not many for this size work. The light that protrudes through is absolutely gorgeous. Seeing this in person is extraordinary. It remained in the same family until just recently. Please contact me with any questions. Up for your consideration is an unsigned arts and crafts style bent glass leaded lamp. The lamp is 21″ inches tall and the shade is 16″ inches in diameter and 6 1/2 inches deep. This bent panel shade has lovely glass and is decorated with stylized acanthus leaves at the rim. My wife and I actually considered keeping it but, alas I have way too many lamps and need to sell a few. The shade is in excellent condition with very few tight hear cracks but they don’t detract from the lamps beauty at all. The base has wear appropriate with its age and is wired with newer vinyl covered wire. Both sockets are replacements and are in working order. I can rewire the lamp with period cloth wire and install old period sockets if you desire but this lamp needs nothing unless you are a purist. I have many types of sockets including Hubbells with acorn pull chains or paddles and plenty of wire. Up for your consideration is an antique leaded glass lamp attributed to the Chicago Mosaic shade company. The pattern seems to be of a lotus flower or water lily motif. This lamp base measures almost 23 inches tall and the shade is about 18 inches in diameter and 8 inches deep. The base has some wear but is in good working condition, it is an unsigned example I have seen before. I had to replace the finial so it is not period. The shade has a few very tight heat cracks but they are barely discernible. They did a nice job so it now looks like the solder and cap have an applied metallic bronze patina over it. I would rather my shades stay grungy and the only time I clean them is when they are heavy with cigarette tar and nicotine. The lamp is still a nice example with a lot of textured glass so it really sparkles. Please look at the pictures I have included.
