1930s ART NOUVEAU TABLE LAMP With SLAG GLASS SHADE
This 1930s Art Nouveau one-light slag glass lamp is made of cast iron (hexagonal base), heavy cast metal (hexagonal stem and hexagonal shade frame), steel rod (tripod shade holder) & brass (socket body). It has been restored to the original antique metallic brass color. The shade’s green slag glass panels are original and in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The lamp stands 19 1/2 tall & the shade is 10 1/2 at the widest. The lamp base is 7 1/2 in diameter. Original pull-chain light socket is rewired with new brown cloth-covered cord & a new repro bakelite polarized plug. It weighs 7 3/8 lbs. Light bulb not included. This 1930s Art Deco table lamp is made of heavy cast metal (base, stem body, shade frame, shade cap & finial) & rolled brass (neck tube & socket holders). The lamp has been restored in metallic antique brass with natural brass. The six slumped slag glass panels are cream with swirls of caramel. Five are original & one is replacement. All are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. This classic Art Deco slag glass lamp stands 23 tall & has a 18 wide shade. The lamp base is 7 in diameter. It has the original dark brown finish & patina; surfaces were lightly washed with soap & water. The eight original slag glass panels are green with swirls of white. Very nice Bradley Hubbard lamp. Both the shade and the bass have the Bradley Hubbard logo. All of the glass is in excellent condition free of cracks and original. The lamp has been rewired at some point, and has three pull chains/sockets. Total height is 21 inches, the shade is 13 inches wide and 8 inches tall. The base shows some wear to finish , it has been polished over the years but is extremely heavy and solid.
