Distinguishing quality and characteristics. Both pieces have a combined weight of nearly 27 lbs This is in very good used condition with normal wear (see pics closely). It has the original gorgeous dark patina The octagon shade has 8 honey caramel and white straight glass panels on the top with the same color straight panels on the sides. The filigree in this side panel appears to have a production blemish. It looks as if the mold did not completely fill when cast. It doesn’t look like damage or a repair attempt to me, but a production flaw. You “must” use your own judgment before making a decision This has a single socket w/ pull chain. The wiring has been up dated and is in good working order, but feel free to have it checked out for safety reasons I’m sure this had a shade cap / heat cap at one time that is missing. This is beautiful piece. So please check out the pics closely for “all” the measurements. And additional visual discription (please notice the ruler in the background). This is from the early 1900′s probably around the 20′s or 30′s. We don’t maintain a near perfect score by being unreasonable.
