Antique J A Whaley Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Handel Duffner Era

Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a great J A Whaley all over floral leaded glass table lamp. It is a large and impressive lamp with a very nice floral design. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in any setting. The flowers contrast well with the very unusual pinkish purple background glass. In terms of size, this is a large table lamp with a 20″ diameter shade that stands 25 1/4″ tall. In terms of condition, I see two or three small cracks here and there, but nothing serious. There are no replaced pieces and the shade has that nice rattle of an old and original lamp. Patina on both the shade and base is just outstanding. The tree form base goes extremely well with the floral shade, and the two look just awesome together. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. J A Whaley is not as well known as Duffner or Handel, but they made some awesome lamps and this is one of them! These things need to be double boxed and packed really well. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
