Arts & Crafts Floral Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Handel Duffner Tiffany Era

Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a wonderful looking arts & crafts floral design leaded glass lamp on a solid bronze base. I love the look of this lamp….. Such an unusual two-tiered design. I have no idea who made it. It is not signed and the maker is unknown. But no matter the maker, this is just a really odd and beautiful arts & crafts lamp from the early 1900′s. I will let my pictures do the talking here since they can do a better job than I can about describing i. T, but will note that the shade is 14 1/4″ in diameter and the lamp (with the large ball shaped finial at the top) stands about 23″ tall. In terms of condition I don’t see a single hariline in the shade…… This one was very well cared for in its over 100 year lifetime! The shade is beautiful, well made, and in great shape. It is better than your average shade since it used heavily bent glass for the leaves which must have been very difficult to do. In addition, the choice of such. Glass for the flowers really sets this one off when it is lit. The solid bronze base is a form that I have not seen before. It has a cast iron wight in the bottom to give it additional weight and is supported by 4 round feet. The finish is a nice aged brass. The base has all of its original hardware including matching sockets (with their original interiors and ball ended pull chains, cap and final). Has has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. This is really nice and I suspect very rare arts & crafts looking lamp. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. That being said, please do not embarrass yourself with a lowball offer thinking you are going to get such a lamp like this. It is just a waste of both of our times. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
