A very large incredible antique all original very rare mission arts and crafts Suess ornamental Frank Lloyd Wright style slag glass chandelier in excellent condition. This is the most beautiful shade on e-bay and certainly one of the rarest and most beautiful that’s ever been on e-bay for that matter. Suess hanging shades are extremely rare. This shade pre dates Frank Lloyd Wright so a shade like this could have influenced him perhaps. The original patina is in excellent untouched condition. This shade is extremely dirty it was sitting in a basement for more than fifty years and could use a very good cleaning that would only enhance the beauty of the original incredible slag glass in this shade. They used the most beautiful slag you will ever see anywhere it is full of color and fire the photo’s truly don’t do it any justice at all. There is only one very tiny crack barely a half of a inch long in a small lower border piece of glass not worthy of a photo that will go completely unnoticed. The story was this used to hang in a very old saloon with four others in Chicago not far from where it was made. The original real thick porcelain copper and brass Benjamin four socket cluster is in perfect working order. The shade is 26″ at its widest point by 16″ tall.
