Authentic Antique Arts & Crafts Art Nouveau Slag Glass Bronze Lamp Shade 13
For your consideration is this beautiful early antique bronze lamp shade. It is exquisite and in wonderful condition. It is missing it’s glass, but since the panels are straight and not curved, the glass can easily be replaced. This shade takes 8 panels of glass. It is missing one set of clips near the bottom on one side, but has the other clips at top and each opposite side, so will still hold securely. I have added photos of the the clips intact and then also where the ones are missing. The shade does appear to have some old beige paint as well in some places as shown. It has a clear coat on the exterior, but does not look like they applied it to the interior. Top Opening: 2 7/8 Inner Diameter. 3 3/4 Outer Diameter. Bottom Opening: 11 1/2 Inner Diameter. Chicago Mosaic Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Acorn Lamp Handel Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a really cool and I believe fairly rare Chicago Mosaic acorn boarder lamp. Very neat two-tier design with great acorn and oak leaf boarder. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the glass is all original and there are maybe 4 or 5 small cracks in the whole shade. The shade is 18 1/2″ in diameter and the lamp stands 25″ tall. The shade is supported on a better than average 4-footed Chicago Mosaic base which retains its original dark green finish, original sockets, cap and finial. Chicago Mosaic lamps are fairly common, but I have only seen a few of these with this design. If you have ever wanted a very nice and unusual example of one of these, this may be the one for you. Suess Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Lamp Tiffany Handel Duffner Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. There aren’t a lot of Suess lamps out there. Most people are not familiar with the maker. But when you do get to know them you will see that they stand for high quality and very well built lamps with really cool designs. This is one of them. Great arts and crafts looking water lily themed lamp. Neat size (18″ diameter shade, 18 1/2″ tall). Very cool look with mosaic background that really highlights the water lilies. I will let my pictures do the talking here but will note that the shade is in excellent overall condition with maybe a crack or two here and there. The solid cast bronze base has an awesome dark brown finish on it and appears all original with turn key sockets and a nice cast design cap. The lamp has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. Suess lamps do not come up that often. The company was only in business for a few years. Vintage Art Deco Slag HOUZE Glass Bridge Arm Floor Lamp
Here is a great bridge arm floor lamp with a Broken Arrow arm design and Houze Glass spacers. 59″ tall x 9′ across base and about 12″ at its widest point. It doesn’t look like the wire has had any recent updates, but is in good working order and has an adjustable light socket. This is an estate sale find, so I do not know any of its history.
