Vintage 1920s Slag Glass Lamp in beautiful shape cast base marked CC CO and 6
This lamp has a cast iron base and the shade appears to be cast iron as well. I have attempted to show any flaws of which there are few, most notably on the picture of the base. There does not appear to be any repairs made on it and it seems that someone along the way rewired it with period correct cloth wire to maintain it’s integrity. “There is a lot of confusion about the mark “C C Co. That appears on this lamp and others. I researched it and found that this was a distributor mark. They distributed Miller, B & H, and other manufacturers lamps for a short time. This item measures 21 inches tall by 7 inches at the base and the shade is 8 inches tall by 12 inches at the base. It weighs 7 pounds and 15 ounces without extremely careful packaging.
