This vintage 8 panel slag glass table lamp features caramel glass panels with green glass trim. The shade’s frame is decorated with bows at the top of each panel and wreaths set against a lattice style background on the bottom border. The gold tone metal and brass base is decorated with flowers and beads. The lamp measures 22 3/4 high including the finial. Circa early 1900′s. Vintage Slag Glass Table Lamp 8 Panel Caramel & Green Brass Frame 22 3/4. This vintage slag glass table lamp features 8 caramel and 8 green panels. Each panel on the shade’s brass (or white metal) and metal frame is decorated with a bow at the top. The side sections of frame have a Greek key design and the lower section features a Laurel leaf wreath against a lattice style background. The lamp has a metal base that is decorated with flowers and beads. The stem is brass or white metal and resembles stalks of wheat wrapped with a ribbon. The lamp has 2 pull chain sockets. There is discoloration on the brass and/or metal components overall. The chain pulls are different; one chain has a bell form pull and the other has a glass cylinder form pull. The shade is missing the tops to 3 bows. The remaining 5 bows have been bent down by a previous owner, diminishing the visual impact of the missing bows. In addition 3 of the spokes at the center of the shade are disconnected from the center hub (as shown). The shade sits properly on the base and the broken spokes remain strong. Otherwise the lamp is in very good condition. The glass is free of chips, cracks and repairs. The bulbs are not included. The shade measures 16 1/4″ in diameter x 8 1/2″ high. The total height of the lamp is 22 3/4. When wiring and/or connections have been replaced with new, it will be noted in the description.
