Being offered is a very nice 6 panel, caramel colored slag glass lamp with a scenic overlay. The scene portrait is of a church, with a bridge a house and trees. The lamp has a dark brown patina. Lamp stands 21″ in height and the shade is 16″ wide, base is 8 across. Condition is very good with no damage to the glass or overlay. The top fit is a bit loose, but staple. This item is part of a recently acquired private collection. We will list in a few next weeks-antique, vintage art glass, lamps & others!!! The item came from clean home where it was cared for and displayed for the enjoyment of others. Unseen before it is now offered for a quick sale. Please ask any questions! My guess is — it is a very early a copy of a famous Riviere Studios Co.. Nice rich original patina all around of lamp. The mushroom /dome shape shade has 16″ in diameter by 7″ high, total size of the lamp is 25.5 tall including finial. The lamp shade has an expensive slag glass panels in marbelized hue green color. Metal frame made in very intricate design with ornate etched metal having scenes with storks on lake with blooming water lilies and other flowers. All two replaced sockets in good working order. The lamp base has 3-way switch/please look at the pictures/. No damage at all to the glass panels nor metal frame. Antique Wilkinson Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Handel Tiffany Era
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a very nice example of the very popular Wilkinson peony boarder leaded lamp. These are relatively common so I won’t need to do a lot of explaining here. Suffice it to say that the shade is 18 1/2″ in diameter and the lamp stands 25″ tall. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that both shade and base are in very nice original condition with the shade having maybe 3 or 4 small cracks here and there. The very heavy and solid base has a nice nice decorated bottom and has a great deep dark greenish finish. It comes with what appear to be its original Bryant labeled sockets. Porcelain interiors and satellite ended pull chains. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and a nice old plug and comes ready to use and enjoy. This is a very nice example of a Wilkinson peony boarder lamp that displays. If you like lamps or need parts please feel free to look at my other auctions or contact me. HUGE Antique Chicago Mosaic Leaded Slag Stained Glass Floral Table Lamp
Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is a massive example of a Chicago Mosaic lamp done with bright daisies. The absolutely huge parasol shaped leaded glass shade is a full 24″ in diameter and the lamp stands an impressive 28″ tall. Just look at the detail in the shade with a great selection of glass some of which is even bent to. The flowers are bright and vibrant and the upper ones are. Made out of rainbow colored glass. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here and as you can see from them the lamp displays extremely well and would look awesome in just about any setting. In terms of condition, there are a couple of cracks here and there, but nothing major. These are to be expected in a 100 year old shade. The trumpet style base has a nice fluted column and an especially nice decorated bottom designed with petals that match the flowers in the shade above. It comes with what appear to be its original sockets each dated. 26, 1907 with their. Porcelain interiors and pull chains. RARE Antique Gorham Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp Handel Tiffany Era

I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that both shade and base are in very nice original condition with the shade having a handful of small cracks here and there. Note that the pine cones are actually made out of tiny individual pieces of glass…. This is not an overlay! Each of these little pine cone pieces had its own foil and leading. This must have been a whole lot of work to do! The very heavy and solid bronze base has a nice decorated bottom and has a great deep dark greenish finish. It comes with what appear to be its original Hubbell labeled sockets. Porcelain interiors and acorn ended pull chains.
