Antique Handel / Unique Arts & Crafts Leaded Slag Stained Glass Table Lamp

Please take a look, ask questions, and let me know if you need any additional pictures. This is one of a few Handel / Unique lamps that I bought recently. The combination of a Unique shade with a Handel base is quite common and is 100% fine, as long as you know you are getting an old shade (and not a more recent reproduction as they are out there). Unique made so many styles of this kind of shade with repeating periwinkle. Flowers mixed in a maze of green leaves. In this one they are dark orange (which is unusual) and put on the bottom with a great irregular boarder. The background glass is actually light green, but this does not show up well in my lighted pictures. I will let my pictures do most of the talking here, but will note that the shade is in excellent condition with maybe 5 or 6 small cracks and there are no replaced pieces. The shade is 17 1/2″ in diameter and 9″ deep, and the lamp stands 25 1/2 tall. The heavy bronze base is signed HANDEL in script on the underside as shown. It has its original cap, finial a. Nd set of 3 Hubbell labeled sockets. It has been wired with period style cloth braided cord and comes ready to use and enjoy. If you want to get a cheap lamp, go to WalMart or Ikea. If you are watching this just to watch and see if it sells, that’s fine.
