Age is 1930′s to 1940′s. It has a porcelain pull chain switch in it from that era. Wiring looks to have been redone in the 60′s or so and it looks like the gold paint might have been redone about the same time. It is not original paint as there is some on the glass panels of the shade that needs scraped off. Assembled it is 20 3/4″ to the top of the shade, 12 1/2″ to the bottom of the shade. Shade is 12 1/8″ square x 8 1/2″ tall. Base is heavy solid cast iron with a flower basket center. It stands 15 3/4″ to the top of the socket and base is oval shaped at 7 3/4″ x 4 3/4 and weighs in at over 7 lbs by itself so is nice and stable. Shade pinches into the mount nice and snugly. Some small chips to the slag glass panel but they are in the original cutting and hide under the metal strips. I’m not sure what the metal strips are made of but they are non-magnetic. Pull chain switch works good and the wiring looks ok but whoever put the wall plug on it did not put a cardboard insulator cap between the prongs. I don’t see a name on the base. I won’t put any on the outside as it might pull some paint off. The shade is close to a mission style but the base is more art deco but they are original to each other. 25/17/17/10d 17b10d 6/10/15 s……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
