The item came from clean home where it was cared for and displayed for the enjoyment of others. Unseen before it is now offered for a quick sale. Please ask any questions! BROWN stained slag glass table lamp from famous Arts & Crafts Era , circa an early 1900, s. When it lits —very nice yellow, amber, honey, caramel hue granite backed tone colors — all glass panels are an original. The lamp base has some signs of usage and lamp shade in good condition/ only one lower small panel has crack/please look at the last picture/. Most popular and classic colors! In very good working order. Shade has 14 3/4″ x 14 3/4″ by 7″ high, lamp is 22″ tall by 7,5 at the bottom. Has very nice an original patina , an original finish on an oak wood lamp base. Single old original socket “BRYANT” with original switch to turn light on/off. It was rewired with period correct brown cloth cord with old plug. All parts are original. Antique Arts and Crafts Mission Oak Slag Glass Table Lamp
Measures 21 1/2″ tall x 17″ wide. Original green slag glass w/o any damage. Light does need some repair as seen in picture one shade needs wired and glued back in. It might take a little work to get socket out. The arms are not bent as it looks in pictures…. They are loose and need glued in. Light cord is the old cloth wiring but in good condition. Shades have pin holes where beaded work had originally been added but is not included. View pictures closely as the sale is final. Remember the one shade does need to be wired. Thank you for looking. 1910 Art Nouveau Caramel Slag Glass Shade & Open Work Metal Overlay Table Lamp
This listing is for a circa 1910 Art Nouveau handsome slag glass metal overlay table lamp. The lamp measures 21 1/2 inches or 54.6cm high to the top of the shade and, the shade is 13 3/4 inches or 35cm wide. The shade consists of 6 large panels and 6 small rectangular panels above it, and each panel consists of a caramel color glass. All the glass is held in place by clips on the inside. The outside of the shade has a beautiful metal overlay. The overlay is ornate and beautiful with its open work floral wreaths and connecting swags and bows. The shade framework is unusually heavy and not like the normal thin overlay on some of these shades. The base is round with 3 open work Art Nouveau stylized arches and a scrolling line design. The lamp has a single pull chain socket. The lamp is in very good condition with only some minor wear to the original gilt patina. There is also one of the smaller panels of glass has a crack right in the center but has been repaired and one tip of the fancy metal frame is missing. This is along the top part of the shade decoration. Please see the many photos for more on the look and condition as they are an important part of the description. A very handsome lamp.
