Fabulous and rare Whaley dragon lamp with red and green glass… The effect is as if the dragon is breathing red fire out of its mouth for the world to see… The glass is without breaks or chips, and the overlay is all present and’accounted for. The base measures 25 inches tall, and is rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old plug. It retains the old sockets and satellite pulls, and all three are in fine working order. The base also retains its original patina throughout, as well as its cap. The shade measures 18 and 1/4 inches at its widest, and is in fine structual condition, having no breaks in the glass nor metal. All leading is tight and solid, and the patina matches the base very nicely as well. The overlay is all there and without breaks, although it is lifting up a bit in a couple of spots.
